One of FUMC Sheridan’s major ministry emphases is the Summer Feeding Program. In partnership with other churches in the Sheridan/Grant County Ministerial Alliance, last year, we delivered over 60,000 meals to food-insecure children in Grant County. Our deliveries will be on Thursday this year, beginning June 5th. We will be packing on Sunday's at 5 pm . Last packing will be July 20th.
Please consider joining us in this important ministry by volunteering to deliver or distribute meals throughout Grant County. Our church is committed to providing assistance as the need arises. - Drivers must be 21 or older, insured, and provide their vehicle.
- Delivery slots are approved for community service hours and there is no age limit.
- Drivers will pick up their food for delivery at staggered times beginning at approximately 9:00 am at the First United Methodist Church.
