The FUMC Sheridan UMY is an active group with the church. We meet on Wednesday evenings from 5:30-7:00. We also offer Wednesday "Hang Out" time from 3:30 - 5:30 and 7 - 8. We perform a variety of mission projects throughout the year, including:
The UMY is able to support our activities with the money made from selling Youth Stock at $10/stock. We enjoy our times of fellowship, including on our annual Youth Trip. In 2025, we went to Myrtle Beach!
Anyone is welcome to join our youth group, and it does not require a membership at FUMC! Meet us "down in the basement" below the Fellowship Hall.

- Halloween Carnival to support our various missions
- Collecting toiletries for the Homeless.
- Cooking Meals for the residence at Ronald McDonald House in Little Rock
- Supporting Angels from the Angel Tree in December
- Our “Souper Bowl” collections in February for the SOS Food Pantry
- Annual Rummage Sale to support our mission projects.
- Working at the Faith House and other missions as needed
